2015 Dutch Bay Warmblood Mare *SOLD*
Fancy mare by Floriscount, out of a 00 Seven (Rubinstein)/Flemmingh mare. Super athletic and progressing rapidly through her training. Great dressage or jumping prospect - has been out to her first dressage show and HITS Ocala jumpers. Ready to go in any direction.
Her sire, Floriscount, is a beautiful, highly modern and long legged stallion with not only three outstanding paces, but also an exceptional temperament and rideability that is passed on to his offspring. He moves with freedom and elasticity, over a good topline and strong hindleg. Floriscount dominated his competitors at his performance test, winning the dressage index with scores up to 10.0 for rideability and his canter. In 2010 and 2011 Floriscount achieved numerous victories and placings in test for young dressage horses, and qualified repeatedly for the Bundeschampionat. Under Christoph Koschel he added his first placings in advanced level dressage classes at the age of only seven. In 2014, Oliver Oelrich continued his further training and collected victories and placings on international level. The pair won both PSG classes in Verden and in doing so qualified for the final of the Nürnberg Burg Trophy as well as the Inter I competition in Nieuw en Sint Joosland, where he placed second in the PSG and third in the freestyle competition. Further placings with the best followed in Hagen and Balve. Floriscount is now on the way up to grand prix with his owner's daughter, Patricia van Merveldt. His sire, Florencio, is a former World Champion of the 5 and 6 year olds who is now competing Intermediare I on his way to Grand Prix. As his most succesful son, Floriscount is an ideal choice for breeders looking to add the Florencio family to their breeding program. Floriscount’s dam is the Elite Mare “Arkona” by Donnerhall. She is creating her own stallion dynasty, having already had 3 licensed sons out of 6 colts born!
Her dam's sire is 00 Seven, who was sired by the legendary dressage stallion Rubinstein I, who performed himself at Grand Prix level. European studbooks are full of his many approved sons. The dam of OO Seven is Gelbria (ster, preferent) who is a full sister of the famous Olympic Barbria, and they have the renowned dressage horse producer Doruto as their sire. Another full sister Ezabria was UTV champion of the three year olds in 1989. This pedigree has produced numerous show ring and dressage stars. OO Seven is more than sufficiently well developed, he has a good rectangular model and is a stallion who radiates presence. The report of his stallion performance test in autumn 1999 states that OO Seven is very willing to work. The trot is light footed with a lot of tact and balance. The canter is spacious and extremely well balanced. OO Seven shows a lot of ability as a dressage horse. In 2001 a group of OO Seven’s progeny were shown, they have a light footed trot with enough space, the hind leg is active and the foreleg use is more than sufficient. The walk is regular and spacious enough. The bone foundation shows sufficient quality. In the final of the Pavo Cup 2000, OO Seven was reserve champion in the four year old class. In 2001 OO Seven was selected for the World Championships for young dressage horses in Verden.
This young mare has been so easy to start. She is very balanced with big, expressive gaits. She has a natural automatic lead change under saddle that she loves to show off. Easy to put together and loves to work. She is sensitive to the aids, but very easy for a knowledgeable rider. She has a great work ethic, is extremely smart, and has been a joy to bring along. She is bred to be an upper level dressage horse, but could go in any direction.
She has been out to her first dressage shows, jumper schooling shows, and HITS Ocala. Currently 15.3 hh with more growing to do. Great ground manners, good in a stall or out 24/7. Up to date on everything. Her only vice is that she is a cribber, which is controlled with a collar.
She is registered KWPN, but also approved for breeding with the American Hanoverian Society.
Jade Twist foaled a gorgeous colt by Donarweiss in February 2020. She was ridden through Fall/Spring and foaled a super fancy Sir James filly in 2021. She is in foal to Don Ricoss for April 2022. Super mare that can go back into sport or keep producing phenomenal babies!
